Dr. Spracklen is a graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her Veterinary Chiropractic training in 1996 and is certified through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA). She is certified in Veterinary Acupuncture since 1999 through the Chi Institute. In addition to her practice, Dr. Spracklen devotes her time serving as an instructor for the Chi Institute located in Reddick, Florida and the Chi Institute - Europe located in Spain. She is also the Small Animal Coordinator for the Veterinary Medical Manipulation course offered by IVMI.
Dr. Spracklen is a national and international speaker on veterinary acupuncture. She has been published in the American Journal of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (AJTCVM) and is the author of several chapters in a veterinary acupuncture textbook. She is currently serving as the Assistant Editor of the American Journal of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.

She resides on her clinic property, a 700-acre working grain farm with her husband, Bob, and children, Ethan, Luke, and Galina. In her spare time she enjoys reading, horseback riding, and gardening.
